If we are mindful of our decisions and deliberate in our actions, we can live so that our passions are a part of our daily experiences. I believe in setting a life course that is in harmony with our values so that we are free to be our genuine selves.

We all get caught up in inertia sometimes, in "the way things are," and it can be difficult to step out of that. But if you don’t ever slow down and take stock of your life then you can’t know if where you are is where you want to be. I believe that helping clients get clear on that question is the most important role of coaching.

With that goal in mind, I work with clients to distill the general feeling of wanting something different into the real parts of one's life that need attention. We hone in on the sources of discontent, then strategize ways to replace them with sources of fulfillment.

But what is happiness except the simple harmony between a man and the life he leads?
