Coaching for Parents

It’s cliched but true – parenting places so many demands on us that we can run ourselves ragged trying to keep up. We sometimes end up sacrificing parts of our lives we never thought we could go without.

If we aren't conscious and deliberate with our choices, we may find our selves at the very bottom of our to-do lists. We tend to say yes to the most insistent voices, not necessarily the most important.

If we want to stay balanced and not lose ourselves in parenting, we need to regularly check in on what we’ve given up and what we traded it for. The things that matter most to us change over time. We might want to trade back!

Coaching can help parents who are:

  • Struggling to find time for themselves

  • Burned out

  • Ready for a major shift

  • Feeling imbalanced and/or out of whack

  • Searching for fulfillment outside of family

Parents especially need support when striving for personal change, as it's easy to feel that our families always need something from us. And while families often do need something from us and children rarely hesitate to make their demands known, our families also need us to be whole, to be human, to be joyful, and above all to lead by example when it comes to advocating for our own dreams and needs.

Our lives are not the result of our circumstances, they are the result of how we navigate our circumstances.
